This course is for you if you’re looking to get started on your Conscious Contracts® journey to becoming a certified practitioner, or a standalone course to provide greater understanding of what’s possible. You want to understand how contracts can support new ways of working, be fit for purpose & flex in our changing world.

This is a Basic Introduction.

How can we build businesses and relationships that can sense & respond to the not-yet-known with trust, creativity, and resilience, rather than drafting contracts that try to predict & control an uncertain future?

Contracts can be living, evolving documents which reflect the parties’ desire to come together for a shared purpose.

The contract itself can be part of the process that builds trust & alignment from the very beginning of the relationship, putting in place a clear & shared direction for the collaboration. 

The Conscious Contracts® model is a process for creating sustainable, relational & values-based agreements. It provides a framework for authentic communication, connection, clarity & relationship design.

Run over two days by experienced Conscious Contracts® certified practitioners, this course will inspire a new way of co-creating contractual relationships, provide you with an overview of the process, and give you a peek into how this is being successfully used by practitioners around the world.

Ideal for: lawyers, law students, mediators and those working with legal professionals (legal designers, contract managers, branding & marketing, etc).

Rhiannon Thomas

Rhiannon has two decades of legal experience. She is a practising attorney, notary, conveyancer and administrator of deceased estates. She is also a values consultant and accredited Conscious Contracts® provider and trainer. She has developed and facilitated workshops on a wide range of topics. A natural connector and networker, Rhiannon thrives on building relationships. She formed the integrative legal consultancy, Milkwood, in 2013. She works internationally and is based in Cape Town. Blanca Leon

Blanca is a legal consultant specialising in commercial matters and solutions, combining purpose and values with plain language drafting and visual design to create clear, collaborative and human centric legal documents. Blanca fosters creativity, curiosity and intentionality in her work, and loves nothing more than sharing the profound impact relational, values-based contracts can have on changing how we engage with ourselves & others. CLE/CPD Credit

Our participants are from around the world and represent different professions as well as jurisdictions. It is not practical to apply for continuing education credits is so many different circumstances. However, many jurisdictions are self-reporting or will allow you to apply for credit from a course offered outside your local area. We are happy to provide you with outlines, materials, credentials, and agendas to help you get credit from your local accreditation board.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received more than 2 weeks before the class commences will be given a full refund.  We will refund 50% if cancelling at least 1 week before the class commences. After that refunds will not be issued but you may transfer your registration to a future course with the same trainer.
